You might be wondering...what do I value in a church? Here are somethings that we at Drain AG value:
Abiding in Christ
John 15:4 “Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in me.”
We want to be a church that is entrenched in prayer, scripture reading, and the daily habit of finding time to spend with our creator God.
Reaching the Lost
Luke 19:10 “…the Son of Man came to seek and save those who are lost”
The "lost" are all around us. Let's do our part in showing them the love of Christ.
Be a Disciple Making Church
Matthew 28:19-20 “Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you…”
One of Jesus final commands he gave his disciples was to "make disciples". We don't want to lose sight of the importance the Bible puts on disciple-making.
Community Minded
Being involved with the life of the community is our focus. In order to accomplish some of our other goals as a church, it is vital to be a part of the community. We are always looking for ways to serve...the schools, the city, and the citizens who live in Drain, Yoncalla, Elkton & the surrounding area.
